Downtown Tucson

Downtown Tucson is undergoing a major renaissance.

Sunset casts a glow on the Historic Pima County CourthouseDue to the new Modern Streetcar, interest and excitement in Downtown Tucson is rocketing off the charts as private investment pours into the area.

In just the past 3 years, nearly $300 Million has been invested in new construction & renovation – with over 50 new restaurants, nightspots & retail stores opening up during that time!  In the heart of the Downtown Core, 3 multi-floor apartment complexes have been built, along with a new hotel scheduled to break ground in Q4 of 2014.

On the 2nd Saturday of each month, a street festival named…get ready for it… “2nd Saturdays” brings 15,000 to 25,000 people to Scott Avenue Stage during 2nd SaturdaysCongress Street.  Live bands perform on street corners, vendors line the sidewalks, food trucks gather near the stage on Scott Avenue, street performers, horse-drawn carriage rides, pedicabs, stilt-walkers…you name it, things are happening…even a marching group of bagpipers makes a regular appearance!

For years, people have wanted to buy condos in Downtown Tucson, but none have been available until just recently:  The Flats at Julian Drew Block is a complex of 53 studio & 1 bedroom units located under 100 yards from a Streetcar stop & less than 500 feet to Congress Street, the heart of the new restaurants, shops and nightlife.  These condos are priced from $105,000 to $147,000 – creating an affordable option for buyers, with a hip, modern aesthetic.  My team has been chosen to list these for the developer – and they are the ONLY condos for sale at this time in Downtown!
